You organize the transports and process the export documents and customs declarations in the ATLAS system for worldwide shipping.

You will become an important contact for customs authorities and forwarding agents. You will be responsible for compliance with legal requirements and guidelines in the area of customs and foreign trade.

That’s what we want from you:

Completed commercial training, ideally as a forwarding agent with professional experience
Safe application and handling of German/EU customs law (ATLAS/TARIC)
Basic knowledge of AWR (foreign trade law)
Basic knowledge of the origin of goods and preferential law
Good knowledge of MS Office (Word and Excel)
Very good knowledge of German/English
Team player and organizational talent
Commitment and correct way of working
Enthusiasm
Independent work

Your area of responsibility includes:

Preparation of all common customs documents for import and export as well as the NCTS shipping document procedure
Processing queries from the customs authorities
Checking customs documents
One tariff for trade goods
Communication with customers, service providers and internal departments
Order processing and data entry in ERP system
